Refund policy

How Returns Work

  • All returns can be arranged through our Returns Portal or online accout. 

  • To start with our return portal, simply click the link, enter your email address and order number, and follow the steps.

  • The portal will allow you to:

    • Generate a prepaid return label, or

    • Register your own courier details.

  • Item(s) must be returned in the same condition as sold, with all SYLK tags attached.

  • Refunds are processed within 3–5 days of your parcel arriving back with us.

If your return arrives up to 7 days late, we’ll issue a credit voucher instead of a refund. Returns received after this grace period will not be accepted. Credit vouchers can be used both online and in-store, with no expiry date.


UK Returns

  • You have 14 days from the date you receive your order for the item(s) to arrive back with us.

  • If using our prepaid label, returns are sent via Royal Mail 48 Tracked (approx. 48 hours delivery) — please factor this into your 14-day return window.

  • A return postage fee of £3.95 will be deducted from your refund.

  • Once your request is approved through the portal, you’ll receive a Royal Mail label to print at home.

  • If you don’t have a printer, email us for a QR code (UK only), which can be scanned and printed at your nearest Royal Mail shop.

  • Alternatively, UK customers may register their own tracked courier service through the portal.


International Returns

  • You have 21 days from the date you receive your order for the item(s) to arrive back with us.

  • Use the Returns Portal to either:

    • Generate a prepaid return label, or

    • Upload tracking details if you prefer to organise your own courier.

  • Return postage costs are the customer’s responsibility.

  • Any customs duties, import VAT, or handling fees must be prepaid by the customer. If SYLK is charged for these, the amount will be deducted from your refund.

  • To help avoid unnecessary customs charges, please ensure your parcel is clearly marked as “Return” or “Returned Goods – Relief Claimed” on the customs declaration.

  • Always use a tracked service and keep your proof of postage until your return is confirmed.


Return Deadlines

  • UK: Refund if received within 14 days. Credit voucher if received between days 15–21.

  • International: Refund if received within 21 days. Credit voucher if received between days 22–28.

  • Returns received after these periods will not be accepted.


Product Condition

All SYLK pieces are pre-loved vintage and designer. Minor signs of wear are natural and expected. We carefully note and photograph any flaws that affect wear.
