Open Studio Days at SYLK
Join us at the SYLK studio in Manchester for our monthly open studio days, where you can shop our curated vintage and designer collection in person.
Browse over 700+ vintage and designer garments, including tailoring, outerwear, knitwear, shirts, accessories and newly sourced arrivals. Open studio days are a relaxed way to visit SYLK without booking a private appointment.
Alongside our online collection, you’ll have the opportunity to shop selected new-in pieces first and explore exclusive items available in the studio.

Opening times
Open studio days are held monthly and announced in advance. Outside of these dates, the studio is available by private appointment only.

We’ll have posters up, and check our Instagram Stories on the day for directions once you’re nearby.
Do I need to book?
Nope — just drop in whenever suits you.
What can I shop?
Everything you see online — plus unreleased pieces and exclusive in-store stock.
Can I try things on?
Yes — we have a private changing area with a full-length mirror.
Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely. Friends, family — even your dog. We’re fully dog friendly.
Is it the same as a studio appointment?
Not quite. Open Studio days are more casual — great for browsing and discovering new pieces. If you prefer a quieter, one-on-one experience, you can book a Studio Appointment instead.
Can I get there by public transport
- Tram: New Islington Metrolink – 15–20 min walk
- Train: Manchester Piccadilly – 15–20 min walk
- Bus: 201, 202, 203, 205, 192 & 219 all stop nearby
Is there parking available?
- Secure on-site car park – £5 cash
